Ordering Please place orders by sending us e-mail at vicky@minimode.com. In your e-mail, please include:
Upon receiving your preliminary e-mail order, we will check our stock to see if that particular jewelry can be immediately shipped. If the jewelry is immediately available, you will then receive a confirmation invoice via e-mail with payment information. We are currently accepting cashier's checks, money orders, personal checks and PayPal as payment. (To learn more about and sign up for this on-line credit payment system, click here. You may also review an article about PayPal in PC Magazine online here. Please remember that you sign up and use PayPal at your own risk. MiniMode will not be held liable for any damages that may incur from using PayPal.) All payment must be made in US dollars. MiniMode does not recommend sending cash and will not be responsible for any cash payment lost in the mail. When payment is received, we will notify you via e-mail when the order is shipped. An order will not be shipped until payment is received. Placing orders via e-mail will put a hold on a particular jewelry piece. If payment is not received within 2 weeks after invoicing, the jewelry will be returned to stock and the order will be cancelled. Please do not send post-dated checks without prior approval from MiniMode. Payments made with a personal check may be subject to check clearance before order is shipped. Please do not send payment without placing an order via e-mail first.

Shipping Options MiniMode likes using USPS and gives its customers the following options to ship orders anywhere in the US:
If anything needs to be received ultra fast, Express Mail rates will be computed on an individual basis. Shipping outside of the United States would also require special attention. Please also see An Important Note for Foreign Customers below. MiniMode will not be held responsible for parcels misplaced by USPS, and since insurance is inexpensive, we also charge to insure items. An Important Note for Foreign Customers While I value and appreciate all of my customers, sending orders to another country can be a very sticky situation. In the past, I have constantly encountered very long delays in shipping to and receiving packages from other countries. For example, and for no apparent reason, one package took 2 months to arrive to a customer in Japan! Not to mention, on more than one occassion, we have had packages never make it to my husband's family in France. However, sending a parcel insured to a country outside the US can be quite costly and I am sympathetic to the customer with a small order who would rather not pay an extra $10 or $15 for shipping. So for the time being, while I am not requiring parcels to be sent insured, I highly recommend it for those who would be very disappointed if their order was lost or took a long time to arrive. There is no way for me to track parcels that are uninsured, and if it is lost, I cannot recoup the cost of the misplaced item for you. Therfore, those who choose to send their packages uninsured do so at their own risk.That means, that if after 3 weeks a package has not arrived, or if it never arrives, the customer graciously accepts the responsibility for not having insured the item. I will not be responsible and cannot replace nor refund money for uninsured packages that are misplaced by any post office. So if you are anxious about receiving an order--INSURE IT!

Return Policy Upon receiving items from MiniMode, please immediately report any damaged or defective items to us via e-mail. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, you may return it within 7 days of receipt. We reserve the right to refuse returns that we deem are not in resaleable condition. Upon returning items, customers may choose one of the following: repair of the jewelry, a full replacement, a full refund (less shipping charges), or a MiniMode store credit (less shipping charges.) MiniMode store credit may be applied to future Internet store purchases and eBay auctions. |
